Where can someone find a cheaper gas boat motor?

I am not looking for like a 250 hp motor something like a 9 hp or maybe even 12. I looked at the honda motors and saw that they were all over $1000. now is there like a cheap brand or maybe a place to find relatively cheap but not too old of models of gas motors. preferably something from the 2000's.
