Is it kind of laughable that Melo puts his trust in the Knicks management?

Since Ewing left they have did nothing to indicate they have a good management. All they did was clear a bunch of cap room which might help them to land Stoudemire, Paul, and Carmelo but they probably won't have money to bring other players since Stoudemire will be making 20 mil a year, Anthony 21.5 mil a year, and Paul a max deal (probably 15 or 16 mil a year).
