Why does my honda civic dx 91 pulls when it changes gear?

when i'm driving the car it pulls 3 times when it changes to 1st 2nd and 3rd. it has been doing that for a while and i don't know what my be wrong the car is automatic transmission.. please help me out thank you! :)
